Jovanović Attends Event on Energy Resilience and Green Recovery of Ukraine
The State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nevena Jovanović participated in the event “Energy Resilience and Green Recovery of Ukraine”, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on the margins of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The event focused on Ukraine’s current needs in relation to the reconstruction and protection of its energy infrastructure, as well as opportunities to develop a resilient, sustainable and energy-efficient energy system. Participants also exchanged views on the challenges and prospects for international cooperation in this area.
State Secretary Jovanović’s participation reaffirms the Republic of Serbia’s commitment to constructive engagement in international efforts aimed at strengthening energy security, promoting sustainable development and advancing regional and international cooperation in this field, while upholding the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
