ProLift Rigging has added four new perimeter trailers to its fleet to transport mission-critical gear for data center and other major infrastructure projects.

We have improved our capacity to transport our client’s high-value gear with our own equipment, meaning a higher degree of business control making it easier for ProLift to deliver our duty of care.”
— Jesse Taylor - President & CEO of The ProLift Rigging Company
MEMPHIS, TN, UNITED STATES, October 31, 2025 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The ProLift Rigging Company, a leading provider of solutions-based industrial construction services and heavy-haul transportation in North America, announced today, it has added four new Aspen 13-Axle Perimeter Trailers to its fleet of specialized equipment.

Perimeter trailers are a type of heavy haul trailer that supports a load around its outer edges or the perimeter of the cargo — rather than through a solid deck or central beam. The trailer consists of two main side beams connected by cross-members and can often be adjusted in length and width to fit the dimensions of the cargo.

Perimeter trailers are key pieces of specialized equipment used for hauling large, heavy, or high-value industrial components that have uneven shapes or require precise support points, such as:

• Generator enclosures
Data center modules or skids
• Prefabricated buildings or structures
• Transformers
• Turbines or compressors

These trailers can handle a payload capacity of up to 90 tons and have a very low clearance that can carry loads as low as 10 inches above the road. They also have an expandable width from 12 ft to 20 ft.

“The acquisition of our new perimeter trailers is the logical next step in the development of our first and last mile hauling strategies for mission-critical construction projects,” said Jesse Taylor, President and Chief Executive Officer of The ProLift Rigging Company. “We have improved our capacity to safely transport our client’s delicate, high-value gear with our own equipment, meaning a higher degree of business control making it easier for ProLift to deliver our duty of care.”

ProLift took ownership of the trailers in late August. The new perimeter trailers have been fully vetted and tested by ProLift’s safety and engineering teams. They have been strategically distributed across ProLift’s network of operations and are available to be utilized for heavy haul projects immediately.
