The energy of tomorrow coming to your city today: SARTA rolls out unique Borrow a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Bus program

SARTA fuel cell bus

Transit agencies across the nation will be able to borrow a hydrogen fuel cell-powered bus from the Stark Area Regional Transit Authority

Program launched on National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day gives policy-makers, public opportunity to explore benefits of transformative technology.

CANTON, OHIO, UNITED STATES, October 8, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — Kirt Conrad, CEO of the Stark Area Regional Transit Authority (SARTA), believes hydrogen fuel cells (HFC) are the future of automotive, commercial, and public transportation. In fact, he believes it so much he’s willing to lend any transit agency in the country one of SARTA’s hydrogen fuel cell-powered buses for free. All an agency has to do to is call and ask. The Central Midlands Transit Authority in Columbia, South Carolina will be the first agency to borrow a bus.

According to Mr. Conrad, the free program is being supported by El Dorado National, one of the leading bus manufactures in the U.S. and BAE which makes the propulsion system that drives SARTA’s fuel cell buses. The companies will provide free technical support and fuel for the vehicles while on loan. For more information on the program or to arrange to borrow a bus contact Timothy Montgomery, SARTA marketing administrator at 330-477-2782 x570 or tmontgomery@sartaonline.com

“Borrow a Bus was created to raise public awareness about and generate support for HFCs,” Mr. Conrad said. “Most Americans, including policy-makers and the media, don’t know what fuel cells are or how they work. Giving people across the country the opportunity to see, learn about, and ride on a hydrogen fuel cell bus is the best way to demonstrate this technology’s potential to totally transform the way vehicles are powered here in the U.S. and around the world.”

Negotiating that learning curve is important as vehicle makers and the public seek alternatives to the internal combustion engine. “Today, batteries dominate the discussion about the future of transportation,” Mr. Conrad said. “Borrow a Bus is one way to ensure that fuel cells become a prominent part of the alternative fuel, renewable energy conversation. That’s why El Dorado and BAE eagerly agreed to participate in and support the program.”

Mr. Conrad admits that fuel cell advocates have some catching up to do. “In the past, the industry’s been focused on getting the science right,” he said. “Now it’s time to tell the fuel cell story in a way that will captivate imaginations and generate increased acceptance of and support for this groundbreaking technology.”

Canton, Ohio-based SARTA provides a compelling chapter in the fuel cell story. The relatively small public transit agency will soon have one the largest fleets of hydrogen fuel cell-powered buses in the U.S. outside of California and one the largest in the world. SARTA used a combination of state and federal grants to acquire 13 buses and build a hydrogen refueling station.

“What began as an effort to achieve our goal of operating an emissions-free transit system has evolved into a multi-faceted campaign to revolutionize private, commercial, and public transportation in the U.S. and across the world,” Mr. Conrad said. “Education is a key component of that campaign and Borrow a Bus will be a great educational tool.”

Whether or not the revolution he envisions will occur is dependent on a number of factors, including attracting the public and private investment needed to build out hydrogen refueling infrastructure across the country. “Even the most ardent HFC advocates recognize that the lack of a reliable, extensive network of refueling facilities is a huge impediment to the widespread use of HFC-powered vehicles,” Mr. Conrad said. “We believe as people learn more about the advantages of fuel cells they’ll enthusiastically support the type of investment we need. We’re confident Borrow a Bus will play a major role in convincing Americans to embrace the energy of tomorrow today.”

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, October 5, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — Like most economies, the Benelux region relies heavily on international investment and with numerous exciting infrastructure projects planned, the region is attracting many new foreign investors. Mr Hemming will explore handling liquidity and fund allocation for local infrastructure projects, monitoring non-EU institutional funding for regional plans, Korean investments into Benelux projects, increasing compliance with regional regulatory controls, and following market trends and increasing bank-institutional investment partnerships.

Joining Mr Hemming on day two will be a host of infrastructure financing experts including Alessandro Izzo, Head of Division, Project Finance Western Europe at European Investment Bank, Benoit Theys, Head of Infrastructure Debt at AG Insurance, Willem Stitselaar, Managing Director at Macquarie Capital, Alistair Perkins, Head of Infrastructure and Project Finance at NN Investment Partners, and many more.

Attendees will also benefit from hearing real life case studies, with Andrew Petry, Partner at Simmons & Simmons presenting on “Green Energy Projects in the Benelux Region: The Markbygden Wind Farm”, focusing on leading green energy, investing in the onshore wind industry to generate further funding lead flows, and a case study on the Markbygden On-Shore Wind Farm. Louisiana Mesothelioma Victim Center Now Urges a Navy Veteran with Mesothelioma in Louisiana With Asbestos Exposure at A Shipyard to Call for Direct Access to The Nation's Top Lawyers for Better Compensation Results

We are incredibly passionate about making certain you are dealing directly with the nation's top mesothelioma attorneys-because they will get you the best possible compensation results.”

— Louisiana Mesothelioma Victims Center

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, USA, October 5, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Louisiana Mesothelioma Victims Center says, "Approximately half of the people with mesothelioma we talk to each year are Veterans of the US Navy. Of this group, a significant number were required to stay on board their ship or submarine while it underwent repairs or an overhaul at a navy shipyard. Another trend we see with Navy Veterans with mesothelioma is that they often went to work for a shipyard after their time in the navy. In both instances, these types of people would have had extreme exposure to asbestos. The compensation for these types of people with mesothelioma could easily start at around one million dollars as we would like to discuss anytime at 800-714-0303.

"The only catch to significant financial compensation settlements is that the Navy Veteran or shipyard worker with mesothelioma needs the very best representation by the nation's most skilled, experienced and capable mesothelioma attorneys. There is a direct relationship between receiving the very best possible mesothelioma financial compensation and being represented by some of the nation's most capable mesothelioma attorneys. Our service does just that-we offer immediate access to these remarkable legal professionals."

The US Navy Shipyards being referenced by the Louisiana Mesothelioma Victims Center include:

* US Naval Shipyard Norfolk, Virginia
* Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Bremerton, Washington
* Hunters Point Naval Shipyard San Francisco, California
* Long Beach Navy Shipyard Long Beach, California
* Mare Island Navy Shipyard California
* Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Maine
* Groton, Connecticut Navy Shipyard
* Boston Navy Yard Massachusetts
* Charleston Naval Shipyard South Carolina

If the Louisiana Mesothelioma Victims Center had a vital tip for a Navy Veteran or shipyard worker with recently diagnosed mesothelioma in Louisiana it would be, "Please call us anytime at 800-714-0303 before you retain the services of a law firm. We are incredibly passionate about making certain you are dealing directly with the nation's top mesothelioma attorneys-because they will get you the best possible compensation results." http://Louisiana.MesotheliomaVictimsCenter.Com

For up to date information about US Navy Shipyards please review their website on this topic: http://www.navsea.navy.mil/Home/Shipyards/

The Louisiana Mesothelioma Victims Center wants to emphasize there is a statewide initiative available to a diagnosed victim anywhere in Louisiana including communities such as New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Shreveport, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Kenner, Bossier City, or Monroe.

When it comes to treatment options for mesothelioma in Louisiana the Louisiana Mesothelioma Victims Center strongly encourages diagnosed victims to contact the following cancer treatment centers in Louisiana, and in Texas. Note: The MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas may be one of the most capable mesothelioma treatment centers in the world: Oshner Cancer Institute New Orleans; http://www.louisianacancercenter.org/research/partners/ochsner/, The MD Anderson Cancer Center Houston, Texas: https://www.mdanderson.org/

High-risk work groups for exposure to asbestos in Louisiana include Veterans of the US Navy, power plant workers, shipyard workers, oil refinery workers, chemical plant workers, public utility workers, factory workers, plumbers, electricians, insulators, auto mechanics, machinists, and construction workers. Typically, the exposure to asbestos occurred in the 1950’s, 1960’s, 1970’s, or 1980’s. http://Louisiana.MesotheliomaVictimsCenter.Com

The states indicated with the highest incidence of mesothelioma include Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, Louisiana, Washington, and Oregon.

About World Expos
In 1851 the Crystal Palace was the centrepiece of London’s Great Exhibition – the first World Expo. It celebrated the man-made industrial wonders of a rapidly changing world. Architecture, contents and a theme, ‘Industry of All Nations’, were combined to create a big idea of nations meeting nations in shared technological and commercial progress. In more recent years, participants in World Expos, including governments, international organisations and companies, have gathered to find solutions to universal challenges and to promote their achievements, products, ideas, innovations, their national brand, and their nations as destinations for tourism, trade and investment.

World Expos are held under the auspices of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), the intergovernmental organisation responsible for overseeing and regulating international exhibitions (‘Expos’) and for fostering their core values of Education, Innovation and Cooperation. Today, four types of Expos are organised under the BIE’s auspices: World Expos, Specialised Expos, Horticultural Expos and the Triennale di Milano.

Burisma Group Boosts Exploration in Kharkiv region

Following exploration and drilling operations on Zhuravlyna area in Kharkiv region, Burisma discovered a productive C-4 horizon

Once we have performed all required works and interpreted seismic data, we will continue to drill exploratory wells in order to boost gas production”

— Taras Burdeynyi, Burisma Group CEO

KYIV, KYIV, UKRAINE, October 4, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — Following exploration and drilling operations on Zhuravlyna area of the Derkachivsk-Voitenivsk block in Kharkiv region, Burisma Group discovered a productive C-4 horizon.

“The application of latest technology has allowed us to fully assess the potential of this site. Today, we can confirm gas saturation of the upper-surpukhiv C-4 horizon. Preliminary test results suggest a gas flow rate of 120 thousand cubic meters and a condensate flow rate of 60 cubic meters per day. We have already carried out large-scale 3D seismic surveys on the Derkachivsk-Voitenivsk block and started interpreting the data to obtain an in-depth study of Zhuravlyna gas content and identify new drilling points,” says Burisma Group CEO Taras Burdeynyi.

Within 6 months of 2018, Burisma Group conducted 3D seismic exploration on an area of 176 square meters. The Group signed contracts with several foreign companies to cross-examine and interpret the data. By the end of 2018, it is going to perform seismic works on an area of more than 400 square kilometers.

According to Taras Burdeynyi, in September, the Group launched its seismic equipment on the Rakytnyanske field and started another study on the Ohultsovske field, where it is already exploiting an exploratory well.
“Once we have performed all required works and interpreted seismic data, we will continue to drill exploratory wells in order to boost gas production,” says Taras Burdeynyi.

All field work is carried out using latest US seismic equipment, including Scorpion, ARAM and RSR systems.

We want to make certain is that you have on-the-spot access to some of the nation's leading mesothelioma attorneys who routinely earn the best possible financial compensation for their clients.”

— Alaska Mesothelioma Victims Center

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, USA, October 4, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Alaska Mesothelioma Victims Center says, "We are reaching out to a commercial fisherman who now has mesothelioma due to asbestos exposure while working on a fishing boat or boats that had a home port in Alaska. A commercial fisherman with mesothelioma typically did not work on just one fishing or crab boat. Typically, we find that these men did everything on the boat from mechanics, repairs, or upgrades. If you are a commercial fisherman and you have been diagnosed with mesothelioma, or their family, please call us anytime at 800-714-0303. What we want to do is ensure a victim of mesothelioma receives the very best possible financial compensation."

"A mesothelioma compensation claim for commercial fisherman in Alaska or anyone in the industry could start around five hundred thousand dollars. Add Navy experience to the list if applicable, and a compensation claim could reach into the millions of dollars. The claim is not against the military or in most instances boat owners who employed the fisherman, rather it is against the manufacturers of parts or equipment that contained asbestos on a boat or boats. Call us at 800-714-0303 and we'll explain everything. Our top priority is seeing to it that people with mesothelioma receive the very best possible financial compensation."

Types of commercial fishing boats where a commercial fisherman worked where they could have been exposed to asbestos from the Mesothelioma Victims Center:
